Geographical

In terms of water flow, the Ganges is the largest river in the Indian subcontinent. The Ganga is 2,510 kilometres (1.560 miles) long. The river’s source is in the Western Himalayan Ranges of Uttarakhand. The Ganges is considered to be the most sacred of all rivers in India by Hindus. In Hinduism, the river is revered as the deity Ganga.
